ABSTRACT --- CompCote® finishing induces microstructural changes to the
anodic oxide through electrolyte modification, hybridizing the anodic oxide’s
nanostructure and integrating conductive polymer throughout the finish.
CompCote minimizes friction and increases corrosion and wear resistance
without higher energy consumption and cost. Anodizing process innovation and
finish engineering know-how combine to achieve full-scale production at
Bodycote Surface Engineering, fulfilling design/performance challenges at
Öhlins Racing, AB.
